Caracol Festival (Caracol sa Makati)

  When it comes to the festivity, Makati has a lot of festival to offer and of those is the Caracol Festival wherein it aims to promote and instill the importance of preserve and maintain our country’s ecology and natural resources that really gives this festivity to showcase the different flora with a variety of colors that is really eye catching. Caracol festival is taken from the spanish word which means “Snail Shells”, it represents the city as a shell of joy and merriment despite the difficulties that the city is currently facing. This festivity is more likely a tribal dance competition between the different local schools in Makati, representative of a specific barangay, and government personnel. In the actual festival, each troupe was assigned to have at least 30 to 50 members to dress up in flamboyant costumes or any colorful neon colors that close with the nature theme. Kidding aside! ‘Lugawan sa Tejeros’ you might have heard it anywhere because of their budget friendly menu that really serves a good quality of food. It was located at 1066 chino roces ave, Makati that really attracts the employees, taxi drivers, group of people or even a normal person who is really craving for delicious food but in a cheaper price because they were offering a lot of options or choices in their menu.
