I chose the article of holidays and special events because we all know that festivals are one of the most exciting time or moment of the year. That's why a lot of people are taking  time, effort and  money just to go and celebrate the festival in a certain destination or place especially here in the Philippines that has been famous for having a lot of festivals or fiestas because of that Philippines has traditionally been famous as  the capital of the World’s Festivities with over more than 42,000 major and minor festivals in the Philippines included the town, city, provincial, national and village fiestas that we are celebrating here in the Philippines. I chose the Panagbenga Festival as my famous festival that we are celebrating because we all know that it is one of the famous and pride of Baguio. That's why a lot of tourists take time just to go to Baguio and celebrate this festival. Panagbenga Festival is a month-long annual festival celebrated in Baguio which is came from the term Kankanaey which means “season of blooming” . This wonderful and colorful festival was held in the month of February which really gives the chill vibes to the tourists because of its weather. I am sure that when February strikes most of the tourists will make time to visit Baguio and witness this kind of amazing and very colorful festival. 

Article Audience: Group of Friends

I choose group of friends as my article audience because i know this type of people will immediately caught their attention when it comes to this article type because we all know that the group of friends are becoming more adventurous and fearless when it comes to the destination that they want to go or to the activities that they want to do to a certain place. Group of Friends will definitely enjoy this kind of festival because of its colorful theme and to the place itself wherein they can experience the chill vibes weather that really refreshes their mind because of the weather, views and festival that they are about to experience in Baguio. So, in this blog I will also share with you what are the activities that you can do or see during the Panagbenga Festival. So aside from the festival itself, the most awaited activity that a lot of people are looking forward to see is the Grand Street Parade wherein the local people and revelers are wearing the most colorful costumes and some traditional clothes of the tribes in north parading their pride and their stunning flora theme which is preserving the environment but mostly emphasis the flowers of Cordillera. Also, during the Panagbenga Festival you and your friends will surely enjoy the street dance, the parade contest and bazaar where the local people are displaying their handmade craft or clothes that are famous in Baguio. They also have big and alluring float parades of their own astonishing flora which can easily caught up the attention of the tourists. There is no other place in the Philippines where you can celebrate your month of February to March with your beloved friends just to see  this kind of festival that our country is proud of.
